Save the Date - Council of Five Nations 2016

Hello Northeastern Gamers,

The 39th Council of Five Nations, our annual 3-day adventure gaming convention, is about six months away.
It's a little early this year, so we want to get the news out now.  Please mark your calendars for:

September 23-25, 2016

We will continue to offer a nice balance of Board games, RPGs, miniatures, and other good stuff.

With 2016 being the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, we are planning on great event track all weekend.  Please click here to see the special page on our web site highlighting all the Star Trek and Star Fleet gaming that will be part of the anniversary celebration.

We are also continuing to offer a lot of stuff that has been very successful for us in the past:
  • A full weekend of Pathfinder Society RPG
  • Lots of Dungeons & Dragons Adventure League
  • The biggest & best Star Fleet Battles tournament in the whole world
  • One of the biggest gatherings of Battleground: Fantasy Warfare players in the Northeast
  • TITAN Northeast Championship qualifying rounds
  • Kids events all weekend
  • Around 200 events over the course of the weekend!

Call for Game Masters - coming soon

We are making a few updates to the web form where GMs enter the info on the games they want to run at Council. This is necessary because our web host, DreamHost, changed how data collected from web forms is handled.

We expect to have GM event registration open by the last week of March, if not sooner. We will announce it via SWANews, our email newsletter.  You can also stop back here any time for the latest Council new updates.

Hotel Reservations

If you're the kind of person that likes to plan ahead, now is a good time to make your Council hotel reservations.  We've just updated the Council Hotels page on our web site.

Watch the SWA web site and your email box for our SWANews email newsletters for status reports as we move towards Council of Five Nations XXXIX, on September 23-25 this year.

Thank you,
The Schenectady Wargamers Association, Inc.
