Game-a-thon: this Saturday, January 8th

()

We apologize for getting this Saturday's SWA Game-a-thon scheudule out so late.  We got hit by the double-whammy of the holiday season, and digging out from under our first big snowstorm of Winter.  But we've still managed to put together a nice schedule of good events.

Don't forget, January is a Swap Meet month.  Bring your games to sell or trade.  Bring your left-over Xmas money to buy other people's good stuff.

Wow, look at all these events!  Fourteen!  That might be a modern Game-a-thon record...
An abundance of gaming goodness to keep you entertained as the weather gets cold and our natural inclination is to stay inside.

Typically, Game-a-thon is the second Saturday of each month. However, we have to work around scheduling conflicts with the Studio of Bridge and Games.  We also try to not schedule in conflict with other gaming conventions (but it inevitably happens once in a while, despite our best efforts).  If you see a conflict we should know about, please email us at gameathon /at/ swa-gaming.org and let us know.

We'll be updating the Game-a-thon pages on the SWA web site soon (click here).  Check in for full info on each event as it becomes available.

We hope to see you at many SWA gaming events in 2011.

Game-a-thon: Saturday, November 13, 2010

()

Last month's Council has given us an infusion of new GM blood (pun intended, more on that in a bit).  We've got a bunch of events this month that are new to the SWA Game-a-thons.

You will see Pathfinder RPG games in both time slots.  We are hoping this becomes a regular, monthly offering.

You will also notice we've got Vampire: The Eternal Struggle card game.  This is very popular around the country, with many large tournaments, and we're happy to have it as a new offering this month.

Of course, not everything is new.  We've got Axis & Allies, and Through the Ages, which are long-time SWA favorites.

The full schedule:

Morning Session ( 11am - 4pm )
Evening Session ( 5pm - 10pm+ )

For more information, including full event descriptions, click here for the November Game-a-thon page.

We hope to see you there.
